Saint Nektarios Aegina

Saint Nektarios is the protector saint of Aegina. The monastery that is dedicated in his name, is 6 Km from the harbour of the island. It is built in the place Xantas, opposite from the hill of Paleochoras. It is the most important religious monument of Aegina.
